Terms of service

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.

The contact email on your account must be one you actually read. Renewal notices, expiry warnings and security alerts go there.

Acceptable use

You may not use our servers to send bulk unsolicited email, to host phishing pages or malware, to distribute content you do not have the rights to, or for anything unlawful under Indian law.

Shared hosting is shared. If one account consumes so much CPU, memory or disk activity that other accounts on the same server are affected, we will contact you and ask you to move to a VPS. We only suspend without notice when a site is actively harming others, such as when it has been compromised and is attacking other machines.

Uptime and maintenance

We aim for 99.9% network uptime, measured monthly and excluding scheduled maintenance. Where we fall short, credit is available on request against the affected service.

Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance by email and is carried out in low-traffic hours wherever possible. Emergency security patching may happen without notice.

Backups

We take daily off-server backups on hosting plans and keep them for seven days. These exist so that we can recover a server, and we will restore your data from them where we can.

They are not a substitute for your own backups. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Payment and renewal

Services are billed in advance. Prices on this site exclude 18% GST, which is added to every invoice.

If an invoice is unpaid, the service is suspended after 7 days and the data is removed after 30 days. We send reminders before both of those dates.

Domain renewals are your responsibility to approve. We send reminders, but a domain that lapses can be expensive or impossible to recover.

Development work

Development projects are quoted per phase against a written scope. Work begins on a phase when that phase is paid for.

Once the final phase of a project is paid in full, the source code and database of that project belong to you. You may host it anywhere and have anyone else work on it.

Changes requested outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before any work happens on them.

Ending the service

You can cancel any service at any time from your account or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of the acceptable use section above. Where that happens, we give you a reasonable opportunity to download your data unless doing so is unlawful.

Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim.

We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or loss of data beyond that limit. This does not affect any rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have jurisdiction.
